- Although I render numerous subjects, I'm best known for achieving attention to detail graphite people and pet portraits as well as watercolour pet portraits. With a commission you have the pleasure of participating in the process while watching your portrait come to life through a series of works-in-progress sent as I complete your portrait. But my Sassy Smudges 5x7" pet paintings allow you to relax until viewing the finished image. Painted on a smaller scale, these pet paintings show the same nuances and quality of workmanship my larger commissions are noted for. Portraits evoke such emotion, that's what makes them a challenge to accomplish. I am thrilled to take a photo that may not be worthy of displaying in your home, and turn it into a hand painted original piece of art that you will enjoy for years.
